I highly urge you to get Internet Explorer 7. It is far and above any previous version of IE which you may have found somehow pleasurable. In addition to enhanced security, it features tabbed browsing, support for RSS feeds, and is much more standards-compliant than its predecessor.
And it’s really not all that bad. I’d still recommend Opera or Firefox, though.

I don’t trust Microsoft anymore…just like AT&T, they work for the govt in snooping on citizens…most “critical update” patches are actually tools for disabling your firewall settings and other personal protection schemes…the Swiss are tapping VOIP and can turn on your computer mic to listen to your room…see EFF…Microsoft is updating your software to defeat admin tools…so, I don’t trust IE7
If i had a bit more balls and some actual computer savvy, I’d be running some distro of Linux. Still mulling it over. Someday I’ll do a dual boot thing and try it out, but I’m afraid I’ll run into problems I can’t fix.
