Sinclair Broadcasting Group will be pre-empting it’s regularly scheduled television programming just a few days prior to the upcoming presidential election, by airing an anti-Kerry propaganda film made by Carlton Sherwood, who apparently worked for Tom Ridge, landed a gig running part of Homeland Security’s media operations; and whose previous films also include a movie about the U.S. government’s “persecution” of the “Rev.” Sun Young Moon (better known as the confidence man behind the so-called “moonies” sect). according to Josh Marshall,
Sherwood’s report was so ‘independent’ that he let Moon’s representatives pre-screen it and make changes to the text. They also reportedly agreed to buy 100,000 copies of the book for good measure.
