finally met with the brownstone’s landlady (w/Lisa). also found a couple other affordable options. may possibly go with this super location but boring and ugly place, if we can ever find the manager. will update tomorrow if possible. grandfather gave his approval in the form of some much-needed financial help, so we may not have to rough it so bad for the first month or two after all.

i haven’t seen Lisa in so long, so it was sooooo good that she finally ended up coming out to see the places with me, and she’s pretty positive most of the time. and “the rest” (wink) is still fantastic, but no hootchie-cootchie from now until i stop smoking, so waaaaah! on that.
Spinal Tap/Best in Show fans: go and rent A Mighty Wind NOW. the entire cast of Best In Show is in it, and everyone plays their own instruments (some even had to LEARN them!) and it’s so damn good and Harry, Michael, and Christopher are the Folksmen and i’m not saying anything else except to GO AND SEE THIS MUFUG.
