wow. just woke up and smoked a cigarette. serious head buzz going. could really use some Jolt.
client told me the other day he couldn’t get the site running, on the server i sent him, on the laptop, at the meeting. he had it going before. oh well. now he wants a calendar, and he sent me a Word doc with screenshots of the one he wanted me to make. it took less than one minute to find it on the internet (i am a Google master). the company that makes it sells it for literally hundreds and hundreds of dollars… i think even more than $1000! i told him he wasn’t going to get anything of the sort, but did some scouring and have narrowed it down to a few pretty decent-looking open-source products. tweaking and testing them this weekend.
