just a few of the things i was thankful for today (in no particular order):
- i have a pretty fuckin’ cool family who looks out for me
- Native Americans
- we’re not at war – yet
- i still have some friends, even though some of them aren’t very friendly lately
- all the people on LJ who list me as a friend :)
- my summer fling (*sigh*)
- the end of my summer fling (*whew!*)
- getting to be with Ria, and hanging out together again after so long
- i have outlets for expressing myself in sound, vision, and text
- i have learned an awful lot about the world
- i have learned an awful lot about myself
- i’m a much better person today than i have ever been
- i’m finally really actually getting in shape AND IT’S WORKING :D
- i’ve managed to build up my CD library to way past where it was at before when it got stoled
- i’m smoking less and less and less and less and less
- mistressxenobia and tyrsalvia, two of my favourite people on the ‘net who i desperately hope to see IRL sometime
- astralweeks, who is astonishing
- nancianna, who was my best friend, even if only for a little while
- Fred and Lisa
- sweet and fair Melissa in San Diego, whom i love and admire and cherish and adore tremendously, and who i am convinced is a bodhisattva

- my journal started as nothing a little over a year ago, and has turned into a sort of experiment with honesty and openness and Truth and, well… letting it all hang out, more or less. thus have i opened up more here at this URL than i ever have in my life. i feel much more confident in myself, too, even if i’ve had to make an ass out of myself at times.
