jesus… i just spent all freakin’ night tryin’ to write a user admin script (with good authentication no less) in PHP from scratch. it doesn’t help any that i don’t know shit about PHP. and the values (username, pass, etc.) are comin’ up in the wrong order from MySQL (database)! i’m gonna rescind my bid for this stupid project. i haven’t been paid a cent yet, and the way things are going (designing a website for a committee!), the site won’t even be ready until next season! so fuck this. it’s not worth it, especially since i agreed to do it for peanuts.
waaah! i want decent work! no server-side scripting! plain old HTML from now on! maybe some includes! but that’s IT!
