(no subject)

of all the news today, this strikes me first.

i am glad that one of my former friends has embraced the Indian culture. it is about time that someone does.

i have been listening almost exclusively to classical music, from the collection of my good friend and political nemesis Jason Styer, who gave me a huge collection of the greatest of the great classical music on cassette a year ago. everything from the very long past to the very near is represented in those tapes. i don’t know, maybe it is the soul of some great Greek blood that was captured in slavery by the Romans and filtered through to me that has caused such stir lately. or maybe it is just the memories of my classical upbringing, under the tutelage of my Grandmother the Pearl, my uncle the Steward, or my piano teacher the saint. at any rate, this music has moved me. only Vangelis, IMHO, has been greater of late, and maybe Tangerine Dream.

it is the Great Tragedy that consoles me in my pain, which has seemed to grow with every day of late; and which i will either overcome, or be overcome by.

don’t worry younguns… i am still all about the rock and roll.

jae lethe (he/she/they) is a blogger, musician, artist, poet, web developer/designer, armchair philosophizer, teller of tales, and gadabout. Also, something he calls a "behavioral artist." (Not sure.) She has plans. BIG plans.

Among the things that he has done for a laugh are minor fractures, cuts, scrapes, and various scabs. Though she's quick to point out that they're no imbecile, we're fairly certain that he thinks the word means some kind of medieval pharmacist.

This is her latest home on teh internets - where jae stores their swear words, when they're not hurling them at the sun in vain.
