State Street Vapor Company
2015. Logo design, based on owner’s spec. Currently being used online and in print material and brick-and-mortar signage.

Technothrope 2.0
2003 — 2004; 2005 — 2007, 2008. Relaunch of a tutorials site geared toward web technologies and techniques. Original version used PHP-Nuke as core CMS; shortly after Joomla! was released in 2005, that platform was used instead. Last using Joomla!.

West Zephyrhills CenterState Bank
2008. Designed the look and feel of the (then) new site for CenterState Bank of Zephyrhills, FL for TQINet. The client wanted a fresh, eye-catching design that was easy to navigate and visually interesting.

SMAG Dance Collective
2008 — 2009. Maintained and updated the SMAGDance.org site.

Brilliant By Design
2008. WordPress-powered web site to enable a small local business to achieve web presence and self-empowerment in managing web content. Original theme based on the client’s design.

Mars Site Templating System
2003 — 2005. Developer/Designer. Mars S.T.S. used PHP, XHTML, CSS, and cookies to create a database-free CMS featuring automatic content linking and a user-selectable theme. Also featured cross-browser translucent backgrounds, using PHP-generated dynamic CSS based on the user agent string. Started as a prototype site for the local chapter of a space research advocacy organization.

Tecumseh Local Music Boosters
2002 — 2005. Designer/Developer/Administrator. Designed and developed extensive site featuring a dynamic photo gallery. Implemented using HTML, DHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and Flash; original graphics. Also responsible for some copy writing.

The Loving Scares
2002. Designer/Developer/Administrator. Site for local independent artist/musician Anthony Dawson. Used HTML, CSS. Images used are artist’s own.

Tecumseh All-Class Reunion
2001 — 2002. Internet chair and Media/Publicity co-chair for steering committee. Designed and developed for a local not-for-profit organization; used Flash, HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL; original graphics. Produced content, including copy and all graphics. Message board by phpBB. Also produced compilation CD of alumni musicians. Voluntary work, done pro bono.

The VAT: a magazine for collecting gamers
2004. Designer/Developer/Administrator. Companion site to print magazine. Built with XHTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL; featured a utility allowing editors and writers to upload files and have links automatically generated by the site’s engine. Also produced content including graphics, Flash, copy, and advertisements. Original, custom-built CMS + b2evolution blogging engine, designed to mimic the look and feel of the print version.
Icon sets
Believe it or not, these icons, originally from 2002 (for phpBB), were pretty popular, back when the internet was more blinky and spastic than it is today. I still like the first few. For those who enjoy having seizures, you can still get them here.
Branding & Identity
Printed media has a much higher resolution than is generally presented on a computer monitor. Thus, some images may look fuzzy or grainy here, due to a reduction in size and dots-per-inch resolution (dpi). In most cases, you may click on an item for a larger, higher-resolution version.
